ABOUT US

Oakhurst Farm is on the edge of Loxwood on the border of West Sussex and Surrey, in a beautiful part of the south east of England.
Since 2006, it has been the home of Nigel and Fiona Gibbons.

The renovated Farm House, which originates from the 18th century, is surrounded by a Sussex Barn and a Granary, both listed, with other buildings in the vicinity.
Oakhurst Cottage and Oakhurst Barn lie beyond.

The 200 acre farm is operated on a commercial basis, and is made up of arable fields, pasture and woodland. Numerous public footpaths and bridleways cross the farm, in particular the Surrey Sussex Border Path. To the west, the Wey and Arun Canal passes through; which was formerly a commercial route between London and the south coast until the advent of the railways led to it being abandoned.  Gennets Bridge Lock lies within the Farm, and has been reopened as part of the Canal’s restoration programme. The Sir Roger Tichborne Pub lies on the eastern boundary.
